The Best Hummus Ever

Yep you read it right, the BEST Homemade Hummus- I make this all the time and it is SO easy. It literally takes 5 minutes and tastes way better than store bought Hummus. We have it on rice cakes, on top of homemade pizza and with roast lamb. I don’t think you’ll go back to store bought once you’ve tried this.

1 can organic chickpeas- thoroughly rinsed
1 heaped tbsp hulled tahini
Juice of 1/2 to a whole lemon- I usually had a whole lemon but you can adjust it to your taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Splash of water
S + P
Optional: A sprinkle of smoked paprika, a dash of olive oil and some black sesame to top
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender
2. Blitz, if you need some more water add a small amount at a time- you can over do it with the water and it goes very sloppy so be careful not to add too much
3. Taste, add more lemon or salt if you need
